This upper low will move eastward today, and will be centered over or just west of Ventura County this afternoon. However, with the very deep marine layer in place, and increasingly cyclonic flow aloft, blv there will be some areas of drizzle and a slight chance of light rain through the morning.Īn upper low was located about 200 NM west of Point Conception early this morning. Only a couple of rain gauges were reporting a hundredth of two of an inch of measurable rain this morning. Low clouds were widespread from the coast all the way to the coastal mountain slopes, and have even spread into portions of the far interior valleys of SLO County and the Cuyama Valley. Marine layer was around 5000 feet deep early this morning. ![]() A warming trend is expected Friday and Saturday, with less in the way of low clouds. Temperatures will be below normal through Thursday. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the mountains and in the far interior valleys of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties this afternoon and evening.
